Awaken each
morning to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the
tantalizing fragrance of the day’s scones, coffeecake,
or muffins baking in the oven.
Our full
breakfasts begin with a choice of juice, seasonal fruit,
breakfast confection and the morning’s special entrée.
Very Berry Cream French Toast? Turkish Scrambled
Eggs? Orange Soufflé French Toast? Eggs Florentine?
Crustless Vegetable Quiche? San Joaquin Morning
Breakfast Bake? Our menu changes daily to further pamper
our extended stay guests. Menus are adapted for guests
with special dietary needs. Dine leisurely with other
guests in the cheery carriageway or arrange a private
time and place.
The bounty
of San Joaquin Valley provides the heart of the menu.
Inspiration for meals comes from the treasure of recipes
Lani has gathered from family, friends, and travels.
Guests enjoy
reading her library of cookbooks with her commentaries
on the recipes.
When you
come down to the carriageway for that first cup of
coffee, grab a cookie from the cookie jar. It’s okay–
you’re an adult. The cookie jar and beverages are
available all day when you feel you need a little
something to tide you over to the next meal.
If you have
to leave before breakfast times, arrange for a
“Breakfast-to-go” box. You’ll find it, full of
surprises, with you name on it in the Guest
Refrigerator.

Refreshments
are served in the parlors. You may nibble on California
cheeses, artisan crackers and fruit. Or perhaps
buttermilk brownies, chocolate chip jumbles, carrot cake
or red velvet cupcakes. Beverage of the day may be a
Lodi Appellation wine, sparkling cider, cold punch,
refreshing lemonade or iced tea.
Dinner,
country high tea, lunch or a picnic basket may be
ordered when you make your reservation. Look for our
